Fantastic pastries! You can see the flakey layers and the fig cheese danish was the right amount of sweetness. Oftentimes I find that pastries around here are just bread packed with sugar and artificial flavoring; this is not the case here. The drinks are simple and let the baked goods be the (rightful) star of the show. Highly recommend Butterjoy and we'll definitely be going back!

The best crossiants in Rochester. Definitely get there early as they do sell out! Such cute decor as it feels like you’re in grandma’s house.

Absolutely fabulous and faultless. Friendly yet professional staff, delicious ( and large !) pastries for a very price . Charming and cozy without being claustrophobic. Bright , clean and welcoming . One of my new favorite places for pastries and a cuppa ( tea or coffee) Unlike a lot of places quiet and restful . Lovely ! Very impressed!

First time there today. I had a Pan au Chocolat with hot chocolate. It was about $11, which compares with a Starbucks trip for what I get usually. There are two tables of 4, and a 4-seat counter on the side. The croissants are fantastic! I will be back to try other items soon!

Cozy pastry shop with rolls, scones, Danish, croissant and more. Good drip coffee. They have space for dining in but they also have a lot of to go orders. The place has a red wine colored wall and is located beside roc cinema across from highland diner.

Gorgeous and delicious pastries! I was so surprised by how cute and sweet the decor was! The staff members were friendly and we chatted for a while before buying croissants! Im dreaming of when I can go back and get another almond croissant!!!!

The delicious, delectable, crunchy, flaky, buttery, layers of joy are absolutely heavenly. The almond croissant was pure perfection. I closed my eyes and was transported places I’ve never been. The cinnamon swirl was densely light a balance that brought another smile to another face. Highly recommend to everyone. Another simple joy, they had a vegan coffee cake that is going to make my daughter the absolute happiest when she wakes up! Thank you!!

Flakey croissants. I got the sausage egg and cheese croissant and it was delicious it tasted like they used high quality local sausage not jimmy deans. Also tried the cookie dough filled bow perfect balance of sweet with the buttery croissant outer shell this place is a must try 🥐

Saw Butterjoy reviewed by Eat Local guy and had to come check it out for myself. Absolutely amazing flavor and freshness in all of the items I got. Cinnamon roll, the croissants, butterscotch cruffin and the breakfast croissant were all great and I can’t wait to return here again soon.

I was recommended this place from a coworker and the YouTube channel "Eat Local NY". I have always loved croissants and these ones are AMAZING. So many layers of flaky dough with lots of flavor. This place does sell out on occasions (from what I've been told) so I would get here early. There's not a parking lot, but there is some street parking. I would definitely come back here.
